Suggested Use: Apply a thin layer of Soothing Salve to affected areas to soothe and heal dry and/or moist irritated skin. Use as a barrier cream to protect tender areas and to aid in the prevention of wound formation. Use anywhere body friction causes chafing or blistering. If you are overweight with overlapping folds of skin, apply to affected area and/or between the legs twice daily as needed.

If you are using DermaWound and have an open wound or ulcer, use Soothing Salve on the irritated skin surrounding the affected areas and DermaWound directly on the wound.

Ingredients: Unique blend of certified Organic: Oak Bark, Lobelia, Comfrey, Marshmallow Root, Mullein Leaf, Skullcap, Black Walnut, Aloe and Calendula in a base of cold pressed certified Organic Olive Oil, High Desert Beeswax, (Tea Tree Oil) and Vegetable stearic acid.

Oak Bark has antiseptic and astringent properties. It has often been used to disinfect wounds and sores. The astringent or tightening property of oak bark helps reduce the swelling which occurs whenever there has been trauma to the tissues.
